Run and operated by Carl Barwick, PoolSafe Certifications are a Licensed Pool Safety Inspection service, accredited with the QBCC (Queensland Building & Construction Commission) to perform onsite assessments on swimming pool safety barriers and necessary compliance criteria in accordance with QLD regulations authority to issue safety certificates, and non-compliance notices.

Before pool safety laws were legislated in 2010, drowning was one of the leading causes of death in Queensland for children aged under five. Now, Pool Safety Certificates are required when selling, leasing, or building a new pool for any residential property as well as annually for shared-use properties (hotels, gyms, unit blocks, etc.).
